New EPA air rules call for 28 states to reduce pollution

New England’s rules already meet standard

The EPA has finalized rules to compel 28 states to curb airl pollution that travels across states. These rules are the first in a series of federal restrictions aimed at improving air quality.

The EPA predicts the new rule will prevent up to 34,000 premature deaths annualy and result in fewer hospital visists, and work sick days which result in vast savings overall.
